I went back and tried to make the homemade peanut butter more nutritional diverse. I wanted to eat more of it but peanuts are mostly fats.
So, I took the previous batch and used it to make a new batch. The ingredients are simple:
- 50g peanuts
- 50g Greek yoghurt
- 33g whey protein powder
The result?
- Total weight: 133g
- Calories: 475kcal
- Protein: 40.2g
- Fat: 28g
- Carbohydrates: 15.8g
If we compare 10g of pure peanut butter and 10g of this recipe it’s amazing the difference!
- Calories: 64.2 kcal vs 35.7 kcal
- Protein: 2.54g vs 3.02g
- Fat: 5.24g vs 2.11g
- Carbohydrates: 1.72g vs 1.19g
I’ve tried it and it tastes so damned amazing!
