I went back and tried to make the homemade peanut butter more nutritional diverse. I wanted to eat more of it but peanuts are mostly fats.

So, I took the previous batch and used it to make a new batch. The ingredients are simple:

  • 50g peanuts
  • 50g Greek yoghurt
  • 33g whey protein powder

The result?

  • Total weight: 133g
  • Calories: 475kcal
  • Protein: 40.2g
  • Fat: 28g
  • Carbohydrates: 15.8g

If we compare 10g of pure peanut butter and 10g of this recipe it’s amazing the difference!

  • Calories: 64.2 kcal vs 35.7 kcal
  • Protein: 2.54g vs 3.02g
  • Fat: 5.24g vs 2.11g
  • Carbohydrates: 1.72g vs 1.19g

I’ve tried it and it tastes so damned amazing!
