Recently my body has been pretty beaten up. Workout intensity went up so of course recovery became a higher priority for me. Some days it’s not physical recovery that’s limited, more mental and stress recovery. When body building they’re just as important as physical recovery. Most days I’ve been too tired to do much post workout so I prep my food, eat, watch something then lay in bed and let myself rest guilt free.

I still program, though reading has taken a backseat at the moment as I prefer programming, gym, and some leisure at this current junction. Today is a recovery day from a nice night out yesterday, and well I think I should’ve been a bit more relaxed in my workout yesterday afternoon. Today I’m definitely feeling a big difference in recovery rate so my evening workout tonight will be a bit lax to take into account my body is still beat up from yesterday. I want to however workout to kickstart protein synthesis again as tomorrow the gym is closed, so resting today would equate to resting from today until Wednesday. That’s not bad but my workout regime needs me working out 4 times a week at the moment.

In other news, more progress is made on my workout data app I’m making to track my workouts. It can finally pull data reliably from specified date ranges and creates sheets and dumps the data into them for later analysis.
